Manu Lanzini looks set to miss out on today’s clash with Southampton and James Collins will need to pass a morning fitness test if he’s to make the starting line up.
Lanzini has been in doubt all week whilst Ginge is suffering from a tight hamstring with this morning’s test crucial to his chances of making the team.
However, Cheik Kouyate is understood to have recovered from a bout of illness whilst on international duty and is available for the match.
David Moyes will need to consider whether he or Declan Rice lines up alongside Angelo Ogbonna should Ginge not make it although both are booked for places in the starting line up.
Rice would move into a midfield role should the manager opt to use Kouyate at the back whilst Joao Mario has a big chance to impress given that he is the likely replacement for Lanzini.
Joe Hart is likely to retain the goalkeeping spot.
Will you stop winding us up. I spoke to the cleaning lady and she told me that Hart is no where near good enough, the dog on the street knows that if he plays we lose. if Moyes and Pearse are honestly considering starting Hart then they are muppets but the sad thing these muppets are going to get us relegated. IMO they need to go after today if they select Hart. How we appointed these is beyond belief. Rice in at the back is a no brainer.
Moyes get him and Pearse out, Hart starting. I cannot believe this decision – Davids if you have any bottle you need to sack these two immediately after Southampton score 4 or 5 against us. If they think Hart is better than Adrian they are not fit for the job they have been given. Please get rid of them if you want us to take anything from the last 7 games.
So lanzini not even on the bench and were is chicarito ???? Not looking good IMO let’s hope I’m wrong ..if we don’t win we are down simple ad that
