Lanzini looking “impressive” in Spain

Manu Lanzini is reported as “looking very impressive” in training!

The midfielder has impressed everyone with his contribution to the sessions in Malaga since the squad touched down in Spain on Wednesday.

And he looks certain – given no setbacks between now and then – of playing a part in the next Premier League game against Fulham next Friday night.

A senior London Stadium source – with the squad in Spain – told us by e-mail: “Manu has looked excellent, is working hard and has looked really good since we arrived.

It’s great to see him back and so involved. It would come as no surprise to see him in the squad for Fulham.”

The same source added that central defender Fabian Balbuena was also closing in on a possible return against Fulham after sustaining an injury against at Watford on the last game before Christmas.

However, Sanir Nasri looks likely to be ruled out after failing to make the trip to Spain.

  1. Good news….but i see nasri is going down the oh so familiar route of ” should be available this week ” to still not available some 4 weeks later .

  2. Yes good news on Manu.Hope Nasri is not going to be a Wilshere for us.Balbuena makes a huge difference to the defence too.

  3. Great news, shame about Nasri but calf injuries take the longest to heal so perhaps no surprise.
