Manu Lanzini is playing out of his skin and has stepped up to the plate big time over recent games.

He has recorded man of the match and near mom performances in several since being handed almost total responsibility for the creative side of the Hammers game.

And one sublime back heeled ball to set Aaron Creswell free down the left in the game against Watford was eye-watering stuff as the Argentine midfielder becomes an amazing presence in the team

And he’s revelling in all the new responsibility as he reveals in tomorrow night’s match day programme for the game against Chelsea.

He said: ” “I like this pressure. I like to take the ball and play for the team and I need this for my personality.

“I need the pressure and I need to feel that the team is relying on me. This is important for me. “The team is good and we’re playing good football at the moment and this is important.”
