Lanzini return target set

A Lanzini C&HManu Lanzini looks ready to make his long delayed return to action on the bench at Burnley after the international break.

There have been reports that he could even be involved against Swansea at the weekend but that looks impossible despite the midfielder continuing to train well.

Slaven Bilic is desperate to inject Lanzini’s pace and creativity into the team  but it’s unlikely he will be tempted to start him at Burnley which is a far more realistic target for his comeback..

Lanzini  has been sorely missed in our slow start to the season and can’t wait to get back into action but head medic Gary Lewin is unprepared to take a chance on such a key player.

However Pedro Obiang is expected to make his return against Swansea after suffering a muscular injury and there’s an outside chance that James Collins will be fit back for the trip to Turf Moor.
