Lanzini sends huge Liverpool warning

Manuel Lanzini has sent a huge warning to Liverpool, insisting that the Hammers are ready to shock Jurgen Klopp’s title-chasers at Anfield on Saturday.

The Irons need a boost in their hunt for Champions League football after enduring a difficult run of form.

David Moyes’ side were beaten by Southampton in the FA Cup in midweek and they have only won two of their last five games, although their most recent victory came against fellow European hopefuls Wolves.

Liverpool away is one of the toughest games of any Premier League season, though, and Klopp’s side are going brilliantly in the league; they are second, only six points off Manchester City and with a game in hand.

The Reds have only lost twice this season, with their most recent defeat coming on December 28th against Leicester; since then, they have played seven league games and won six, while also drawing with Chelsea.

But Lanzini insists that he and his Hammers team-mates are ready to cause a major shock tomorrow evening.

He told the club’s official website“We know Liverpool is one of the best teams in the world at this moment, but I think we are confident in our form and our team and we are all focussed on this.

“Of course, we have a team to play well in these kinds of games, but need to focus on our game.”
