Lanzini sets his own very early Hammers return date

|

Manuel Lanzini has claimed he might be back from an injury, predicted to keep him out for the season, by the turn of the year

The brilliant midfielder is showing incredible positivity following an injury which would knock much of the fight from many and reckons the Hammers fans will see him back in 2019.

Only yesterday it was being widely reported the player would miss the entire 2018/19 season plus a further three months

Standard Sport claim he could be back for the turn of the year, and that while the club aren’t willing to put a date on his return yet, they’re positive about what’s been going on since he was injured in a World Cup training camp.

The player said: “The surgery went really well. Although I don’t want to set a date, I expect to be ready to play at the beginning of 2019, that’s my goal for the next months.

“Thank you all for your support.”
