Everton wants to sign West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini according to rthe Daily Mirror.
The tabloid claims the Hammers face a summer fight to keep hold of the South American over the summer.
Friend of this site, Darren Lewis claims Everton boss Ronald Koeman is hunting creative options with Ross Barkley increasingly likely to decide against signing a new deal with just a year left on his contract. Lanzini has scored eight goals this season with his haul including the winner to end Spurs’ title chances two weeks ago.
Manuel was awarded the Players’ player of the year award as well as runner-up for Hammer of the year last week and he still has a chance for West Ham’s top goal scorer being one behind Antonio with one game to play.
Lanzini was signed on a permanent deal for just £9.4million in March 2016 after impressing on an initial one-season loan deal.
On Saturday we reported that the Hammers have placed a £30 million price tag on Manu Lanzini’s head but the club has absolutely no intention of allowing any club to talk with the Argentinian.
The 24-year-old is set to be offered a new long-term deal over the summer.
