Lanzini/Reid updates

Manu is back in the Hammers squad

Manu Lanzini – contrary to reports that he has a new injury – is  still in training and working hard to be 100 per cent fit for the match against Huddersfield.

And ClaretandHugh understands that it was his decision to stay at home -no doubt helped by the the club’s “persuaders!”

Manu decided than rather than go on international duty with Argentina he wanted to ensure that he was  available for the match.

He is determined to make sure he gives all he can to steer the team and manager through this difficult period.

Winston Reid too is back in training with the first team squad and looking likely to be  fit for the game against the surprise packets from Yorksire – a match Slaven Bilic simply must win.

Reid – injured in the warm-up of the Southampton game – has made a quicker than expected recovery and could regain his place in the defence with Angelo Ogbonna for a fixture which has taken on critical importance.

  1. Just hope Reid can stay Fit. Back 3 w him Rice Ogbonna would be nice. I’d like to see Rice actually play in is natural Position in league think he would do well.
    And Kouyate Obaing in mid

  2. Or if you were cynical you might suspect he wants to stay injury free to get a transfer if one materialises.
