Late twist in Felipe Anderson saga

West Ham could be close to record signing of Felipe Anderson from Lazio again claims West Ham fan and journalist Lee Clayton writing for the Daily Mail. He claims that West Ham’s increased offer of £40m means the deal is close again citing Italian sources close to the deal.

Yesterday, Claret and Hugh were told by club insiders that the club that there were four active deals in play with one of them set to break the club’s record transfer with a deal worth £40m. Today’s news seems to suggest that that player could well be Felipe Anderson.  We have been here before with the deal being close so we would count our chickens just yet but there could well be that late twist which means Manuel Pellegrini gets his man from Lazio.

The other three active deals are believed to be Jack Wilshere who signs today plus  Fabian Balbuena and Andriy Yarmolenko subject to medicals and work permits.
