Latest on Ekitike

There have been some positive developments on the proposed transfer of PSG’s striker Ekitike to the Irons.

Foot Mercato have reported that all parties have held constructive discussions and the Hammers have the capacity to match Ekitike’s salary claims and PSG’s demands.

This could be our signing of the season

He ranks within the top 3% in Europe’s top five leagues among his positional peers for assists per game, as well as in the highest 24% for successful take-ons per game (Fbref)

Things are looking good again at the London Stadium following the signings of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez, and now Konstantinos Mavropanos, and Etitike could prove another brilliant buy.

With striker Michail Antonio seemingly set to stay for a while and the young Divin Mubama and Danny Ings his only two backup options, it’s clear that Moyes and Steidten want a fresh and exciting young striker to add to the squad.

Ekitike could well be that man

Now he would be a signing, young, quick, good link player too. He has a good pedigree (PSG) and would be a great outlet for James W-P.

Hope we sign him, looked quality before he arrived at PSG

I’d be so chuffed to get this Guy, hopefully we get Kudus on top, that would be a brilliant window. On top of a productive one to date.
