West Ham United are reportedly in a fast-paced race to secure the signature of Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to sources in Spain.

Sevilla’s need to raise funds before June 30th to meet financial regulations has triggered their decision to sell the Moroccan forward. This situation could present a golden opportunity for West Ham.

West Ham are reportedly willing to make a significant investment in En-Nesyri, with estimates suggesting they are prepared to offer between €20 million and €25 million to secure his services. This strong indication of interest could see West Ham jump the queue ahead of any potential competitors.

The potential reunion between En-Nesyri and West Ham’s incoming manager Julen Lopetegui adds another layer of intrigue to this transfer saga. The pair previously worked together at Sevilla, and this familiarity could be a key factor in convincing the striker to choose West Ham.

With both clubs seemingly motivated – Sevilla needing to free up finances and West Ham wanting to bolster their attack – a transfer agreement could be reached in the next few weeks.

The 25-year-old striker had a strong season with Sevilla, scoring 20 goals and providing 3 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. This record highlights his potential value for West Ham’s attacking line.

A potential class act, go get him Mr Steidten !

I have watched dozens of games when he played for Sevilla. He is not a younger Cristiano Ronaldo, but he scores about 0.56 goals per game in La Liga. For that price I think he is cheap. He just needs a Manager that will keep him motivated. Lopetegui knows him well. Unless we want to spend big bucks, I don’t think we will find better for that price.

Recall him when we played Sevilla in the Europa. Limited mobility and questionable work rate but decent in the air. Remind you of any strikers we recently spent fortunes on???
