Laughing Andy Carroll admits he gave Diafra Sakho a right mouthful as he waited impotently for his chance to grab a hat-trick against Swansea City.
The Senegal hitman – in trying to grab his own goal – ignored the big fella as he tried to score on his comeback leaving AC frustrated.
Speaking to www.whufc.com Carroll laughed: ” I didn’t hold back on what I thought when we got in the dressing room but hopefully next time he will put me in. The important thing was the three points.”
But he admitted the pressure had eased on him this season saying ” It is always easier when you have got a big squad. You are not relying on one or two players.
“We have so many quality players who can come in and do a job and that is why the players who aren’t playing are disappointed, the players in don’t want to lose their places.”
