Lawro ‘frightened’ but predicts West Ham win!

Mark Lawrenson has backed West Ham to beat Wolves, despite being ‘frightened’ of the Hammers’ defence!

The two sides clash on Saturday in a match which already takes on extra importance for the Irons, given that they are still in search of their first win of the season.

Lawro believes the victory will come at London Stadium, but has still taken the time to have a dig at Manuel Pellegrini’s men!

He wrote in his BBC column: “West Ham have frightened me defensively – and if the back door has not got a lock on it you have a problem.

“Wolves’ goal against Manchester City shouldn’t have happened, but it was a good point for them.”

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0

  1. I don’t like the bloke but he’s spot on in his assessment. Our defence frightens me…,can’t even keep a clean sheet against Wimbledon and there’s no indication of it improving
