Lawro predicts Baggies stalemate

MarkLawrenson1BBC Pundit Mark Lawrenson says West Ham do not look much of a threat in front of goal and neither do West Bromwich Albion so he is predicting a stalemate at the Hawthorns this Saturday.

Lawro wrote on the BBC Website “West Ham got off the mark with their win over Huddersfield on Monday but they still do not look much of a threat in front of goal.

West Brom also don’t score too many, and I think there is a chance that both teams could cancel each other out. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic will probably be happy with that.”

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1

  1. Carrol, Hernandez, Sakho, Antonio, and Arnotovic (excuse any names misspelled). A strong midfield with attacking wing backs.
I’m predicting the Irons get their second win of the season 2-1 or 3-1 with a Hernandez brace.

  2. Sorry to admit that Lawro has got a point to a certain extent . But I think West Ham are a bigger scoring threat than West Brom , especially now we have a stronger and fitter squad .
Our back line looked a lot better against Huddersfield and even Fonte showed a marked sign of improvement .
1 – 2 win for us . COME ON YOU HAMMERS

  3. I would take a draw if they offered it, hopefully we will do well against them, Pullis teams have dealt with Carroll better than any others and he wins less headers against them than other teams imo we could start with the same set up as last game but be prepared to get Sakho involved who has presented Pullis with more problems than Carroll the main threat from WBA has been set pieces but they scored on the counter against us last season due to our poor defending, so hard to guess what tactics he may use.
