Lawro’s prediction

With Norwich relegated and West Ham having been semi finalists in a major European competition, we might have expected Mark Lawrenson to fancy us a bit at Carrow Road.

Seemingly not however beyond reckoning we will be hard to beat – we should of course know better where he’s concerned by now.

Three points are vitally required given our last couple of games look very difficult but as mentioned elsewhere Norwich are likely to play with much greater freedom now the nerves of a relegation fight are over.

Norwich have their pride to play for of course before returning to the Championship again but we would honestly expect the Irons to win this and end a miserable run of Premier League results.

Exactly what team Moysie will put out is one to ponder and although Lawrenson seems to think it won’t be our strongest, with points now desperately needed we don’t believe he will change it a lot.

Lawro told his BBC website: “Norwich were relegated last week but I don’t think they will just roll over in front of their own fans.

West Ham won’t have their strongest team out after Thursday’s Europa League semi-final with Eintracht Frankfurt, but whatever side David Moyes puts out they will be difficult to beat.

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1
