Elliot Lee is a notable absentee from the Hammers squad which has flown into New Zealand for the start of the pre-season tour.

A mix of regular first teamers plus the new signings – along with some promising youngsters have made the trip.

Lee is the only surprise omission and the full squad is as follows: Kevin Nolan (captain), Mark Noble (vice captain), Winston Reid, Aaron Cresswell, James Tomkins, Matt Jarvis, Cheikhou Kouyate, Andy Carroll, Mauro Zarate, Stewart Downing, Ricardo Vaz Te, Adrian, Joey O’Brien.
