Lee: “We’ll deal with everything they throw at us”

|

leeThis time last year Elliott Lee could be forgiven for believing he had no future at West Ham United.

Despite many calling for the young man to be handed his chance he was rigidly left out in the cold and on loan.

And whatever people may feel about the likelihood  of Slaven Bilic putting out a second string team in Romania this evening that has to be tinged with the pleasure of seeing Lee, plus various other kids getting a serious chance at the highest level.

Lee know this is a big chance – having scored in the first tie against Lusitans and in an interview with www.whufc.com declared that there was a real belief in the suad for tmight’s game.

He said: “We are confident of getting a good result. I have never experienced anything like this before. The players act a lot different to they do in the Premier League but we are confident we can deal with whatever is thrown at us tonight.

“The gaffer has picked the team he trusts and he doesn’t want to lose. The senior and young boys want to show what we are all about.”

Personally I expect them to win and return to London as heroes and I’m chuffed to bits that the new manager is ready to give them top experience .

When will West Ham players learn to keep quite !! , every time they open their mouths there is always a team to stuff a boot in it . Astra will be throwing loads of bodies at West Ham tonight with the mandate of getting players sent off .
Just say nothing , and get on with the Game at hand . It was only e few days ago that Collins was preaching about staying calm ,,, look what happened . Thanks to his double yellow we found ourselves 2 2 instead of 3 nil .
Come on you Hammers ., up and at’em .

Usually Hugh when you print a story like this it’s a precursor to not getting picked. I hope not in this case as for me he us most likely goalscorer out there.

Please let lee start tonight, Maiga is not cut out for it.
Lee = half a chance Maiga = no chance.

I know lots don’t like him but I love his attitude and he is a natural goal scorer,
Maria is actually a better player on the ball but does not hit the net enough,
I hope we win tonight more than any game this season,
I want us in Europe, put the kids out in the league cup or what ever it’s called,

After he scored in Malta young lee started comparing himself to Kane at Tottenham. Thats confidence for you. Let’s hope he scores again tonight and compared himself with shirts at City.

Compares himself to aguero at City. Any chance of an editing feature?
