Leeds on the way and give Mubama a start

|

So we move on and next it’s Leeds on Sunday afternoon at the London Stadium,

It’s another big match and one which former boss Sam Allardyce will be desperate to win after being allowed to leave the Hammers by the board.

A win in this game and the next against Leicester City could see the Hammers finish in 13th place should Bournemouth and Palace lose their last two games. It could also condemn Leeds to serious relegation issues along with the Foxes.

It is going to be very interesting to see whether the manager decides to play his strongest team – which must be the right way in order to ensure the other threatened teams get a fair crack of the whip. Mind you, it does give a chance to Divan Mubama.

Sam Allardyce has injury problems and we want the Irons to finish on the highest possible high. As a result this would be my team: Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek, Fornals,  Paqueta, Bowen Mubama

Really depends on the Saturday results. If Everton can’t win or Forest lose then we can put the kids out but otherwise need to protect the goal difference at least.

Emerson could come in to rest Cresswell….. otherwise I agree with your selection, Hugh. If Lanzini is to leave, then I’d like to see him get some game time in his last home game.

The kids are in INDIA, so no chances there.
Emerson in for Cresswell,Downes for Rice,Fornals for Soucek. Ings and Mubama for Bowen and Antonio.

Possibly Rice ‘s last game at home. I wouldn’t play him though and save him for the final. He’s far too important for a psyched up Allerdyce side. They will kick us from the off
