Leeds United have set their sights on West Ham United’s forward, Danny Ings, as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
With recent departures like recent Hammers signing Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter, Daniel Farke finds himself in need of additional firepower. While Largie Ramazani has bolstered the attack, Leeds are still seeking further reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
Earlier in the transfer window, Ings had the opportunity to return to his former club Southampton but opted to stay at The London Stadium instead. West Ham are currently focused on trimming their squad, and Ings was reportedly among the players encouraged to consider a move away from East London. However, he declined that opportunity.
It remains uncertain whether the Winchester-born striker would be willing to relocate to Yorkshire and step down to the Championship, especially after turning down a Premier League offer. For now, Ings appears content to see out the season with West Ham.
