Leftback choice poll result revealed

The majority of West Ham supporters polled believe Manuel Pellegrini should start Aaron Cresswell in the left-back role when the Hammers play Spurs on Saturday 20th October at the London Stadium. Over 62% of those asked believe the manager should parachute in Cressie into the starting team to provide a better defense on the left side.  Nearly 13% believe the West Ham manager should stick with Arthur Masuaku who had an awful game against Brighton while a healthy 25% want something completely different in guise of Angelo Ogbonna in the left sided role.

Claret and Hugh polled 863 readers with the question ‘Who should start as left back against Spurs?’

535 (61.99%) said Aaron Cresswell, 217 (25.14%) said Angelo Ogbonna while the remaining 111 (12.86%) wanted to stick with Arthur  Masuaku. Total votes: 863
