In the latest Claret and Hugh interview on the West Ham podcast MooreThanJustAPodcast we discuss the Spurs defeat with former Hammer and ClaretandHugh Chief Analyst Leroy Rosenior.
Leroy discusses whether Slaven Bilic got the tactics wrong, the problems of fitting in Andy Carroll in Bilic’s system and whether he should be sold in January. He also discusses why Michail Antonio might not be getting his chance and his personal views on Victor Moses as a player.
Finally, he rounds off the interview by declaring that James Tomkins is his first choice centre back despite recent mistakes which have cost the Hammers two goals.
Speaking about the loss, Leroy told associate editor Sean Whetstone “I felt he picked the wrong team and he didn’t give the players a chance to really go and perform and complete. Andy Carroll is a good player, but his quality is as a front man with a partner and it was very difficult for him (on Sunday)”
