Make no mistake Chelsea’s stars will be feeling big time pressure when the arrive at the London Stadium tonight.
We are now into March and with a title victory at stake, after their nearest rivals closed the gap at the weekend, the boys from Stamford Bridge will be feeling it big time.
The Irons on the other hand are virtually free of all worries and are looking up. They were unlucky at the Bridge in the League fixture when Diego Costa should have been sent off Β and really turned it on in the EFL Cup clash. They can get a result.
I fancy a draw but wouldn’t be surprised to see them get the win so long as they approach it as they have done recent games.
I’d draft James Collins in at the back with Reidy and Fonte because the likes of Pedro and Hazard must be kept quiet so the strongest defensive line up possible is called for.
That leaves the manager with a difficult decision but I think it’s one he has to make because Pedro Obiang has to play alongside Snodgrass and Lanzini so there is no place in MY line up for Mark Noble.
For this match we need a lot of mobility and I think this is one the skipper should sit out.
I can see Aaron Cresswell giving Victor Moses real problem down our left but I’m sorry we look to be losing Kouyate out of midfield again where he is clearly at his most effective.
I’d also like to see Ayew sniffing off Carroll’s flicks and knockdowns up front because playing one up in the form of AC looks really non productive to me.
I am not underestimating Chelsea, they are a good side but the pressure can get terrible even for the most hardened pros at this time of the season and I really do fancy our chance tonight.
Leroy is the Premier League’s chief analyst and long time CandH top analyst.
Lmao Leroy likes a bit of controversy. No wonder he is no longer managing! There are 2 chances of this happening, Slim and no chance, and Slim rode outta town at noon! Yee-hah!
Its all about opinion young John lol.Whatever you may think Leroy has at the very least been there and done it,unlike us plums lol
I love Leroy Stanley. The wetties would love him over there as he could SOS (save our site) ππ
Stand by for “I’m writing this article to SOS guys” lmao, can’t wait!!
There is so much irony in Iains article.I was reading a few of them on there gloating about this site going down the tubes for some reason,i forget what it was.
That will teach them to mouth off about Hughie and this site lol
It’s all my fault π
Lol maybe we can have a whip round or start a GoFundMe to save them.Actually i will do whatever it takes to keep it up & running if it means some of the grumpy b*stards there dont start posting here πππ
If we play well and start to get on top of Chelsea expect tantrums and dramatics from them .
We have been beaten too often by crafty little tricks that the ref hasn’t seen . Hopefully tonight the ref will be alert to players like Costa and the others that confound &!surround the ref . The on-pitch antics of Chelsea go a long way towards crowd behavior .
It’s surely our turn to get some favorable decisions . It’s gonna be a tough game for the Rent Boys ,,, hopefully .
This game could go either way as regards goals . Either a hatfull or none .
Looking to nick by one goal , be it 3-2 or 2-1 or 1-0 . …. a draw would be good but , a win would really set us up whilst keeping the league alive a bit longer . It ain’t over till the fat lady sings . Expect a sending off and or a penalty .
Hate Spurs but , let’s do them a favour whilst helping ourselves anyway .
Come on you Hammers .
