Leroy: Let’s go get this mob tonight

|

LEROY (1)This is a tough one but it’s the sort of game from which we must take something if we are going to fulfil those top six ambitions we’ve heard about all season long.

And let’s recall the words of that old song as far as the Irons are concerned tonight: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. Come on lads, let’s go and get this mob tonight.

The Irons have every reason for wanting to put it across them because they are bang there in the title race. I hope the lads can put a major spoke in their wheels.

There’s also the little matter of the bad defeat at White Hart Lane to be put right and given that very few teams complete a double over the course of the season we can be confident.

However, we will have to be an awful lot better than we were on Saturday and it’s a blow that Winston Reid isn’t back although Ogbonna has been looking better and better.

I’m sure Andy Carroll will lead the line but it could be interesting if the manager decides to bring Sakho onto the bench – he’s the clear No 1 choice and I for one can’t wait to see him back although there will of course be fitness issues.

I’d love to be able to tip us for a clear win tonight but it really couldn’t be a tougher game and I think a draw is on the cards.

I’ll go for a 2-2.

My magic ball says 2-1 Hammers: Payet (free kick), Lanzini and Kane. 🙂

New you had magic balls Matte,
I think it could be a goal feast and go for 3-2 to us with Sakho coming on and getting a last minute winner,
Would settle for a draw but can’t even think about defeat,

Yes matte but spuds are the no. 2s if you get my drift . I fancy us winning in style tonight just a gut feeling . The rhetoric coming out of spurs tells me the spuds are not very confident excuses about the pitch and tiredness plus the spin on not being a big derby ? Carol must start with sakho coming on later on with carol will be a nightmare to play against . But its the diving theatricals that is the biggest worry !!! Win by 2 clear goals , 2-0 .
