Furious Leroy Rosenior has slammed Roy Hodgson declaring: “How dare he keep ignoring West Ham’s players?.”
ClaretandHugh’s top pundit and analyst declared: “It seems you only have to play for Spurs a couple of times and Hodgson hands you a cap. It’s utterly ridiculous.
“Look at Dele Alli. He plays a few Premier League games and wallop, he’s in the side yet Aaron Cresswell who played superbly all last season doesn’t get a sniff. Nah, I’m not having it. Just wrong!”
England play Spain in an international friendly on Friday the 13th which has proved entirely unlucky for any Hammers hoping Hodgson might look in their direction .
Leroy said: “It’s shameful really. Nobody is going to convince me that Mark Noble isn’t worth playing in a friendly international.
Does Hodgson know where Upton Park is? Doe he have something against us?. There certainly seems to be a Spurs bias from him with Eric Dier also in the squad.”
But Leroy added there was an upside to the England manager’s refusal to give our players a chance adding: “At least nobody is getting injured and can concentrate on the club which is terrific but it remains wrong.”
Roy Hodgson was in the front row of the Directors Box for the Chelsea game, but there was so much going on with the Mourinho soap-opera he probably didn’t pay attention to the West Ham players!
Having said that, Cresswell is the only one with any chance, he’s got to be better than Kieron Gibbs or Ryan Bertrand – maybe his face don’t fit!
Carroll and Noble are not good enough for Us or England at the moment and Noble probably never,
But Cressie deserves a run out but I am glad they are not playing as we could use some good luck and no more injuries
I suppose Carroll could also get in if he starts scoring a few goals…
Of all our homegrown players the only ones that I would say might have a chance would be Cresswell and Tompkins. There does seem a bias against any team not involved in European competition god knows why when every international competition starts those same players look drained from playing too many games and always underperform. He should look at forming a team of players that have played less than 50 games during the season and we would probably do better.
Sorry I mean group stages !
Fully agree with you’re take Leroy!!!
But just look at the positive side of things !
Woy will soon be out of a job simply because he has not got and never had the credentials to manage england !!!!!!!
His player selection tells everybody that he hasn’t a clue ?
Jones , Henderson , alli , delph , cleverly , Cahil , lagielka , do i need to go on ??
We will not get out of the qualifying stages at the euros unless by shear luck !!!
Then its adios to the west ham grudge merchant!!
Buder buder thats all woy !!!!!!
