Leroy: “Watch out City we’re better than Spurs “

Valencia3I watched the Irons/Burnley game from the Premier League studios this afternoon along with the Manchester City v Spurs game and I’ll tell you this: The Irons are gonna give Manchester City a much better game next weekend than the north Londoners did today.

We have more pace, movement and ability in our team than Spurs and can cause City some real problems.

To be honest I didn’t think they looked great despite the scoreline which could honestly have been 8-5.

They are uncertain at the back if you get after them as I’m sure we will and in our  current form a win is on at the Boleyn.

We were excellent at Burnley today and Enner Valencia’s header was superb. That man Sakho just goes on and on and is an out and out goalscorer. I love him to bits.

You will have read enough by now to know the first half was poor by our standards but in the second we were excellent and even when we let them back in with a poor goal – Adrian really should have done better than that – we went again and put it to bed.

That really bodes well for the future. This is a young exciting squad and a joy to watch. Yes it’s great to be entertained but the real sensation is of a deep warm winning in the West Ham Way that’s so pleasing.

We look a great team and have come a very long way. Watch out City we are coming to get yer!

  1. Be sensible – if we get anything out of the Man City game it will be fantastic but I wouldn’t put any money on it.

  2. All thanks to big Sam eh? Shearer was right in match of the day. Where are the fat Sam out brigade now? Very quiet aren’t they? quick to judge allardyces team preseason but very slow to give any credit to Allardyce now.
