Let him go say Manchester United fans

|

Manchester United supporters have urged their club to let Jesse Lingard go permanently to fulfil his football career at West Ham.

The response came after the Red Devils published two photos on Twitter of their 28-year-old attacking midfielder back in training in Carrington.

The social media post attached one and half thousand comments many of which encouraged his departure for the best interest of his career.

One fan on Twitter said “Tho I’m a United fan.. I think it was a stupid decision by Lingard… he was doing do well at West Ham and getting game time.. why r u coming back. I was watching his games cause he’s from united but I think everyone became a fan of his..”

Another Manchester United fan called Jimmy said “Just sell him and let him play football heโ€™s not good enough for united. He thrived at West Ham with no pressure and fair play to him. Time to move on now.”

Another Twitter user called Rob Noble added “Get out unless they are going to play you…..your stint at West Ham showed the quality you possess and the impact you can have if given game time”

Another comment said “This means the end of his brilliant performances. Back rotting in bench again with an ‘of no use’ tag. Sad! Manchester United should just let him move to a club where he can play regularly. West Ham looked to be the best fit.”

Maybe if they keep talking and waiting for another 2 months things might change….ffs ๐Ÿ™„

I believe he will return to West Ham. Payment need not be too high but might include future considerations; inside track with Rice should he eventually leave. All clubs are strapped for cash and Lingard leaves without compensation in 11.5 months and counting.

Agreed, unless we can acquire his services at a reasonable price.
Problem is Man U know how much Moyes favoured him, so hardball is their game in dealing with us.

Its time for West Ham to move on, United will not sell him for less than 25m and for me its too much for a player who will be 29 soon and also out of contract in 6 months.
