Let’s hope Hammers lads are truly over bugs

Let’s hope the West Ham boys who have been sick this week are truly over the bug from which they have apparently been suffering. Jarrod Bowen was fully expected to be fit for the game but Claret and Hugh was told only on Friday that both Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus has been really quite ill. However, the bench look strong so if there are any problems we look covered.

The absence of Kurt Zouma came as a small surprise although he is known to have knee problems so ;presumably that’s the case again. We will be checking later. It’s good though to see the free scoring Tom Soucek named as captain and demonstrates just how much Moysie likes the midfielder.

On the face of it this is a very strong team which if playing up to the form of which it is capable should win against an injury stricken Palace outfit. We will be hoping if that turns out to be the case that Chelsea – very in and out this season – can overcome Brighton in today’s other 2pm kick off enabling us to move up a place in the Premier League.
