|
West Ham 1 Ipswich Town 1
West Ham met Ipswich Town at Rush Green this afternoon in what could almost be dubbed the Jesse Lingard friendly!

Cresswell

The game was put together to give Lingard of showing himself in match action after training with the Irons for several week ad to keep players fully match fit with little time left to train when the international break comes to an end.

The game finished in a  1-1 draw t with The Tractor Boys scoring from the spot via Conor Chaplin before ex-Town left-back Aaron Cresswell hit back with very well struck free kick

Ipswich currently have seven players away on international duty, but the vast majority of those left behind got some minutes today.
West Ham gave minutes to trialist Lingard, while senior players such as Lukasz Fabianski and Danny Ings were also involved.
Now we will need to wait and see whether David Moyes believes the free agent did enough to earn himself a contract with us.
