Lingard likes West Ham memory

Former Hammer Jesse Lingard liked a post by West Ham official Twitter account when they posted a video of last season’s trip to Villa Park including his debut goal. On his West Ham debut on 3 February 2021, Lingard scored two goals against Aston Villa as the Hammers won 3–1.

He played 16 games during his loan spell for the Irons, scoring nine and assisting five goals.

Despite Manchester United being in the midst of a woeful run of form. Jesse still cannot get a start at his parent club.

Earlier this week former Hammer Trevor Sinclair told talkSPORT how a return to the Hammers could be in the offing for Lingard

He looked like he owned the place! The boys loved him. If West Ham keep up their good form and Jesse does reach the end of his contract, I wouldn’t put it past him going back to West Ham.”

The 28-year-old is out of contract next summer at Old Trafford and could be available as a free agent should he want to re-join David Moyes project at West Ham.
