Lingard makes mind up

Jesse Lingard has made his mind up to leave Manchester United, according to a new report!

The Daily Telegraph reports that contract talks between the club and the player have completely collapsed.

They make the claim that the United playmaker has grown frustrated with the way in which United have conducted their negotiations.

Lingard’s current contract expires at the end of the season, with there now an acceptance that he is likely to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

The 28-year-old is not said to have any desire to restart negotiations, and he is also said to be disappointed by the lack of playing time he has been given this season.

Lingard has yet to start a single Premier League game and he is now said to be considering asking for a loan move in the January transfer window.

It remains to be seen if the Hammers will attempt to bring him in at the turn of the year but the Telegraph reports that Barcelona, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid have all registered an interest in signing him on a free transfer.
