Lingard travels with Hammers

|

Jesse Lingard is understood to be on his way to Old Trafford with the squad, seemingly determined to see what amounts to the game of the season between us and his parent club.

Despite being inelgible to play he seems keen to ensure he watches live as the two clubs stage a battle for European qualification points.

The 28-year-old did the same at Old Trafford for the Hammers trip to Manchester for the FA Cup fifth round which ended in a narrow 1-0 loss in extra time.

Such is the team spirit and camaraderie in the West Ham squad Jesse didn’t want to miss the game in person even if it means his boyhood team being rolled over.

Lingard missed out on player of the month for February but took time to thank the Manchester United and West Ham fans who supported him and sent him messages and love after he missed out on the prestigious award.

Don’t sit near Gareth Southgate, Jesse. He’ll turn your head and give you ideas on how to change your game. Listen to David, Alan, Paul, Kevin and Stuart. They are your future.
