Jesse Lingard’s brother has sent a message to Hammers fans on social media.
The Manchester United star has continually been linked with a return t the Hammers since his loan spell expired in the summer.
However, his brother has now taken to Instagram to send a message to Irons supporters, seemingly telling them that supporters may well have ruined the club’s chances of bringing him back.
West Ham Latest posted a picture of Lingard on Twitter, with a countdown to the start of the January transfer window, hinting at their hope that he will end up back in claret and blue.
However, his brother has seemingly taken a look through the majority of comments, and believes that some Irons supporters simply don’t want him back.
He wrote, via Hammers News: “From the comments I can see that most of use (sic) don’t need him and wouldn’t even start (sic). Exact same was said before he last came. Staggering to see that many don’t actually want him either. Firmly noted.”
Lingard has struggled immensely for minutes at United this season and has yet to actually start a game in the Premier League, although he did come off the bench to score against the Irons.
