Lingard’s brother sends Hammers message

Jesse Lingard’s brother has sent a message to Hammers fans on social media.

The Manchester United star has continually been linked with a return t the Hammers since his loan spell expired in the summer.

However, his brother has now taken to Instagram to send a message to Irons supporters, seemingly telling them that supporters may well have ruined the club’s chances of bringing him back.

West Ham Latest posted a picture of Lingard on Twitter, with a countdown to the start of the January transfer window, hinting at their hope that he will end up back in claret and blue.

However, his brother has seemingly taken a look through the majority of comments, and believes that some Irons supporters simply don’t want him back.

He wrote, via Hammers News: “From the comments I can see that most of use (sic) don’t need him and wouldn’t even start (sic). Exact same was said before he last came. Staggering to see that many don’t actually want him either. Firmly noted.”

Lingard has struggled immensely for minutes at United this season and has yet to actually start a game in the Premier League, although he did come off the bench to score against the Irons.

  1. Well his brother has seen some comments, however this is a minority . This doesn’t mean that the rest of us fans don’t want him if DM wants him we should do it . If not I trust in DM COYI ⚒

  2. I find it staggering, how people say we don’t need him, or don’t want him. Have people forgot, how good he was for us only 6 months ago? He scored 10 goals in half a season! He was fantastic!
Personally I believe he would earn a spot in the starting 11, very quickly. However why are we even worried about that, it’s a long season, we will get injury’s, and he can play along the whole front line, and has already proven to be able to successfully do this for us. Let’s not forget, we will loose benny got to AFON. A January arrival of Lingard, would certainly give our squad that extra boost, to keep pushing.

Look I love benny, but competition is a good thing, if Lingard earns the spot then brilliant he must be playing well.

Also I’m a season ticket holder and not met anyone at the game who doesn’t want him back. I guess this shows, never listen to social media fans, or at least always take them with a pinch of salt. Sometimes the minority make the most noise.
