Lionesses pave way for Irons Ladies team

West Ham have high hopes that the success of the England Womens’ team in the World Cup will have a spin off at local level next season.

As the Lionesses bid to make the final tonight the women’s game is gaining ground right across the country.

The Irons  women’s team made their debut in the FA Women’s Super League last season with 27 goals in 14 home games – before their appearance in the Women’s FA Cup Final!

The growth of interest across the country in the game has been rapid as the Lionesses have advanced into tonight’s semi final against holders America.

And with a bright future ahead of the Hammers Ladies they can expect a surge in support next season.

Games are held at Rush Green Training Ground inRomford,which this season will see the Hammers host the likes of champions Arsenal, FA Cup finalists Manchester City plus league newcomers Manchester United.

Season Tickets start from just £15 for Under 16s and £25 Adults. Don’t forget, there is a £10 discount for men’s team Season Ticket Holders and Claret Members!
