Liverpool facing an injury crisis

Liverpool are facing an injury crisis ahead of the clash with West Ham.

The Hammers go into the game in a similar situation, as there is a dearth of specialist centre-backs that David Moyes can pick from. Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma could both miss the game, while Nayef Aguerd remains injured.

However, it seems that the Reds are going to be facing a horror injury list too.

Football.London reports that Diogo Jota is likely out after being stretchered off against Manchester City on Sunday, while the following players could also be out: Luis Diaz, Joel Matip, Calvin Ramsay, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Arthur Melo, Ibrahima Konate.

It is a huge laundry list of players who could miss the encounter but most of those players also missed the City game, which the Reds won 1-0 at Anfield.

Still, boss Jurgen Klopp faces a selection headache as the Irons game looms on Wednesday night.
