Liverpool winger is bookies favourite to join Irons

ibeLiverpool winger Jordon Ibe has become the surprise bookies favourite to join West Ham this summer.

The youngster is 5/2 to join the Hammers with bookmaker Paddy Power. Swansea are 4/1, Stoke are 5/1, Watford, Southampton, Palace and Celtic are  all 8/1 while Spurs are 10/1.

Jordon Ibe has fuelled speculation linking him with a move away from Liverpool with his activity on social media.

The 20-year-old  was left out of  the Liverpool squad towards the end of the season, which led him to subsequently removed all references to the club from his Twitter profile. His account on the social network has otherwise been dormant for just under a year.

Ibe also posted an image on Instagram, which carried the message: “God has your best interest at heart. When a door closes, you don’t known what God is saving you from.” Ibe has struggled to hold down a regular spot in Jurgen Klopp’s first team last season.  The England Under-21 international has not started since Liverpool’s 2-1 extra-time defeat to West Ham United in an FA Cup fifth round replay on 9th February.

  1. Now I am going to surprise you all and say yes there is something about Ibe, I think he could be a very good signing but if we are looking to take a gamble on a player like we did with Antonio last year then I think he could be it.

  2. The lad is just like moses !! That’s why he’s out of Liverpool ! If he was consistent with his good form , which he isn’t , Liverpool wouldn’t let him go ! Overrated IMO !!

  3. Not for me would prefer Richie or Redmond who have better quality,
Just don’t see a starting place for him or even a bench place unless we have 6 forward injuries and then I would prefer Samulsun,
