London Mayor agrees to meet Karren Brady

|

West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady has finally secured a meeting with the Mayor of London for crisis talks about the London Stadium four months after he said he was taking personal charge of the London Stadium following Newham council’s exit from stadium ownership company E20.

The Hammers have been granted a meeting with Sadiq Khan on Monday 26th March, but it has taken up to fifteen letters from West Ham to his office to finally arrange a  sit down over the seriously broken relationship between the club, the stadium operators and stadium owners.

West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady said: ‘We have tried for two years to resolve the many issues that have culminated into a broader frustration among our supporters. I now have a meeting with the Mayor, which has been scheduled for March 26, I am encouraged that the Mayor has stepped in and I look forward now to my forthcoming meeting with him. The long-standing issues around the matchday operation need to be resolved once and for all.’
