London Stadium Away survey makes sombre reading

The FSF Away Fans Feedback Survey 2017/18 has not fared well for the London Stadium for the second year running.

The FSF Away Fans Feedback Survey asked visiting fans to rate a range of factors across the whole of their matchday experience, both outside and inside the ground.

All Away  fans were asked to rate the various factors on the following scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Good), 3 (Adequate), 2 (Poor) and 1 (Very Poor). An average has been taken of these responses to arrive at the results below.

  1. So it’s not just the West Ham Fans that are unhappy with the stadium.
“World Class Stadium fit for world class footb…… yawn”

  2. If you are a glass half full person you would say it leaves a lot of room for improvement 😄 the stewarding would be better with proper West Ham stewards for sure, surprised about the variety of food, perhaps they don’t have the popcorn and sweets in the away section 😂😂😂

  3. And this obviously has nothing to do with the fact the rest of the league are pretty P*ssed at the deal we have with it? There was a poll a week or so ago about who the most hated clubs are and we ranked 4th. We used to be everyone’s 2nd favourite team and since the Tevez incident and we got awarded the stadium the tide has turned and it has nothing to do with the quality of the stadium or the hating of the supporters it all to do with the perceived benefit from a publicly funded stadium.

  4. Jealousy is a toxic disease. There was so much vitriol written and spoken about WHU getting the opportunity to play at the stadium that the negative comments were always going to be made. West Ham are fast becoming the Prem’s most hated club because of this.

  5. This all basically come downs to other fans being jealous we got the stadium on the cheep. I was on a stag do this weekend, and met a group of lads from stoke. They where all saying how the away section was actually pretty good. I also spoke to everton fans on the way back from our last game, who said the same.

  6. On the subject of next season anyone got their ST through yet, I was told would arrive end of July no sign of it yet ?

  7. Yeah all the fans from Bournemouth to Newcastle can’t bear the fact we have a stadium that holds a lot more B……s in claret n blue.COYI

  8. West Ham fan No.32 were using last seasons season ticket

    • Hi Norfolk this is my first season ticket, was on the list and finally got one had a claret membership before.

  9. Is anybody really surprised at this? Terrible stadium.

  10. makes you wonder who they asked i gave up on away games 3 seasons ago and but unless they have changed out of all recognition there is no easier place with more choice an more toilets to eat, drink and pee than the LS and getting too a venue is not a question to ask its how long to get away from it is the one
I have not been in the away end at the LS but the conssesions seem the same as the east stand i know the west stand is more limited
But i like our new house and if away fans dont i dont give a ….

  11. oh right West Ham Fan No.32 then if your a new season tkt holder then yeah should be with you soon

  12. Of course away fans are going to say poor to everything. Our fans would probably do the same for Tottenham’s new stadium. Other fans with rubbish old delapidated stadiums are probably just jealous. I love our new stadium personally. There is a certain type of West Ham fan who has never accepted the new stadium and probably never will. They never wanted to leave the old stadium in the first place. Away fans have cottoned on to this and seem to revel in the fact. Even journalists who have never been to the London stadium like to write articles about how rubbish it is because that’s what they want to believe. But they’re wrong. Im pretty certain there are plenty of clubs fans who would give their right arm to be in West Ham’s shoes and stadium.

  13. I know people say there are loads of journalists who are Hammers but I am not so sure. The media played a big part in creating the narrative of ‘ West Ham cheated their way to a big stadium’. The story is then even better if you can add ‘And they have been rubbish since they got it..oh and their fans hate it’. As pointed out above by wjo1974 it was the same with Tevez affair. The club were in the wrong but the facts were grossly distorted in the press, and inthe court case that resulted in a judge who knew nothing about football asking for the opinion of…yes journalists who had been slating us in their papers.

There is still work to be done on the LS, and yes I am one of the old codgers who will probably never get over leaving UP completely. But that is my problem & I have to accept it. It is clear to me that a lot of the younger supporters have no problem with it & that is great. They are the future of our great club. And tbh that is all that matters. If a knuckle dragger from Stoke comes once a year & doesn’t like it I don’t really give a FF. Oh sorry Stoke supporters-not a good choice for an example.
