Planning permission to increase  the London Stadium capacity for fooball has been approved with conditions applied.

Documents published at the London Legacy Planning Portal in lists conditions London Stadium with which the owners must comply with for planning conditions to be fully discharged.

London Stadium 185 have submitted an updated joint Event Management Plan for Sports Events and Events which must be approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority in consultation with the Local Highway Authority.

The approval was dependent on the plan modelling and taking into account increased car and cycle parking, parking enforcement and traffic management on match days,

Crowd Management modelling and station operations must be updated for increased footfall and signage around the stadium updated.

West Ham must face one more hurdle in getting a safety certificate issued by Newham council but that will rely on Safety Advisory Group members visiting the London Stadium to sit in the new West stand once completed.
