London Stadium concerns over Guns N’ Roses

GunsNrosesOperators London Stadium 185 have released a statement for 160,000 concert goers attending the concert on Friday and Saturday.

The statement reads: “Guests attending either night of Guns N’ Roses’ weekend of shows here at London Stadium on Friday and Saturday, we’d like to make you aware of additional safety measures that are now in place for all events at the venue.

Your safety and enjoyment of events here are paramount to us at London Stadium, and as such we’d like to advise you that there will be an increased search regime in place, so please arrive well in advance of the show starting.

Stadium island will open at 3pm, with turnstiles allowing access into the seating bowl opening at 5pm.

There will be enhanced personal searches on entry to stadium island, so in order to allow easy access, and cause minimal delays, we would like to discourage all guests from bringing bags to the event, and no luggage or large electronic devices (for example laptop computers) will be permitted into London Stadium.

Small personal cameras will be permitted, though guests will not be able to bring professional photography equipment into the venue, and personal phone chargers will be permitted, though no more than one per person.

Please note that you may also be asked to remove coats or jackets in the search queue.

We would like to thank all our guests for their patience in ensuring an enjoyable, safe experience at London Stadium.”

  1. Interesting that there will be 80,000 fans at each concert but not enough toilets etc is given as the reason why we cannot increase to 66,000. I hope that Karen is taking note
