London Stadium security breached yet again

London Stadium security was breached once again by a YouTube gang, this time it was the turn of Southampton based climber Ally Law and his crew. Initially, they attempted to gain access after the Liverpool defeat on Saturday by claiming they had left their wallet in the stadium but security saw through that ruse and turned them away. Donning a high visibility vest a second attempt to gain access was successful by claiming it was an apprentice photographer to take photos of the pitch and said his supervisor name was Jonathan Hill. The video shows them climbing into the roof and walking about unchallenged.

Last October a YouTuber called Nightscape, whose real name is Harry Gallagher, pulled a similar stunt and his video went viral. Weeks later another YouTube outfit called DyingLlama achieved the same last December.  A number of copycat attempts have been attempted.

Last year Stadium operators LS 185 said: “In recent weeks, numerous attempts to breach our perimeter have been foiled by security personnel. However, we are aware of two instances where intruders have gained access to the stadium and filmed clips in restricted areas. An independent review of stadium security arrangements has been commissioned and the conclusions will be presented to our senior executive team later this week. As part of this process, we have ordered our security contractors to increase the number of personnel and the frequency of their patrols across our site.”
