ClaretandHugh’s top analyst Leroy Rosenior believes the Hammers will take a 1-1 draw from Old Trafford today.

But he has warned that all the talk about “problems at the back ” may be being milked by Manchester United boss Luis van Gaal.

He said: ” They have Luke Shaw, the boy Marcos Rojo and Rafael so let’s not get too carried away – they are also a top side going forward…I really don’t need to name their forward players do I?”

However, Leroy is convinced that Sam Allardyce’s new strike force and their new found all round strength and squad depth is sufficient to see them through this afternoon.

He said: “I’m not surprised to see the way the style of play has changed because it was obvious in the summer with the signings they were making that this would happen.

“It’s a point that appears to have been missed but not one of the players that has been brought in is a big fella. They are all quick ball players.

“It’s going to be a big test up there today (Sat) but I really am happy that we can talk in terms of the Irons having a real chance. It’s been a long time since we have been able to ahead of Old Trafford.

“I’m not going to predict a win because with the likes of Falcao, Rooney and the like in their team, United will obviously have a chance.

“But Enner Valencia is clearly world class and can cause real problems whilst Diafra Sakho lookls a real find.

“You also have Stewart Downing playing amazingly well and a team with great confidence running through them. I’ll go for a 1-1.”
