Lyon has rejected a second bid from West Ham for Alexandre Lacazette.
ClaretandHgh blogger and friend Darren Lewis says West Ham have had an improved £32million bid rejected today.
The French club are insistent that they will not do business for a fee less than their valuation of £40m before appearance fees and goal bonuses.
The bid from West Ham was their third crack at 24-year-old Lacazette who has netted 23 times from 44 appearances this season. Last month West Ham had a package worth £31m rejected for Lacazette by Lyon after an initial bid of £25m.
If PSG sign another striker and spurs batshuyai talks progress then lacazette will only have 2 options ….stay or come to westham …im 50/50 on the situation , part of me thinks frruck him and aulas and another part of me thinks if he did end up with us he would end up loving our great club the same way payet has…….there will be plenty more twists and turns im sure before this transfer window closes
£40m….?? If he is worth that why isn’t he in the french squad instead of Giroud?? Saying that why isn’t any other french striker playing instead of Giroud?
Managers preferences essexclarets, look at Payet,he didnt even have him in the team until recently. Its more the manager than any players ability I think.
Sterling cost 49m & is at the euros, that just shows international managers are in their own worlds when it comes to selections lol
Hodgson certainly is, the tw@t
I suspect that all this nonsense is down to Aulas. If his previous comments are to be listened to,he regards West Ham as an inferior club and is looking after his “superstars”.He stated that he wanted 40m euros for Lacazette and when West Ham made a bid for just that amount it suddenly went up to 50m euros.Aulas is a person who is impossible to deal with and I would suggest stop wasting our time with him.
Unless aurlas alters but alas I guess not.
Time to let things unfold people ?
Its doing everyone’s nut in all this speculation .
Its like cludo ? Who , what , where !
Bilic , done hoddle , in the TV studio ???that’s the only fact at present !!
It’s a waiting game. PSG and Levy & Co have gone cold on Lacazette. If the player wants to move and to earn bucket loads more than he is now, he and Aulas are going to have a serious falling out.
I agree with AyKay – with no one else reportedly interested in him, does Lacazette really want to stay in the Franch League when he can move to the highest profile league in the world, which would give him the best chance of:
a. A massive salary
b. Getting back into the French national team?
…and last but not least:
c. Playing with Payet?
