Former West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson believes the London Stadium is a disaster and needs to be torn down and rebuilt!
Talking to the Sun he said: “You cannot build an Olympic stadium and then make it a football stadium. You begin with football in mind. What we have now is a mess, the stadium is unfit for football.
“Money has been thrown down the toilet and the original plans could have saved hundreds of millions.
“I don’t think anything can be done now. It’s better for it to be torn down and started from scratch.”
He seems to be unaware of the compulsory athletics legacy!

also the same people who nearly destroyed us for good. as if anyone from west ham would even entertain listening to him.
Strange since it was Magnusson that went after the stadium in the first place. Bit of sour grapes maybe when he sees what could have been his.
