Magpies save Hammers status

|

West Ham remains in fifth place in the Premier League table this evening after Newcastle overcame Everton at Goodison Park courtesy of a brace from Callum Wilson. The Toffees could have leapfrogged the Hammers with a home win today but they remain in seventh place on 33 points.

The Irons play fourth-place Liverpool tomorrow at the London  Stadium with a home win guaranteeing us to regain fourth place again in the top flight.

West Ham on 35 points remains the top London club in the Premier League table as it stands.

Sixth place Spurs don’t play until tomorrow evening against Brighton and Hove Albion, they will need a win to have a chance to go above West Ham but that will be impossible if the Hammers overcome Liverpool at home first!

Chelsea and Arsenal remain in eighth and ninth place five points away from the Hammers.

Fellow London clubs Crystal Palace  remain in 13th place on 26 points while Scott Parker’s Fulham is in 18th place on 14 points
