Maguire/ West Ham…The Truth

West Ham/Maguire…the Truth

Harry Maguire is being tipped to make a move to West Ham in the summer but this is another recycled story that is simply not going to happen.

The player – as everyone expected – continues to struggle for minutes on the pitch at Old Trafford which gives sites the opportunity of linking him with the Hammers.

Even The Mirror claims that a  move to the London Stadium in January “could reignite Maguire’s career” And they add that it is thought David Moyes is still keen  and could swoop for him if the chance arises.

Maguire…the Truth – there’s no money

This of course overlooks the most obvious flaw in the suggestion – the Hammers couldn’t agree a financial package  in the winter when they had dough and certainly can’t in January admitting to Claret and Hugh they have none!

The other issue is that whilst Sullivan, Moyes and Steidten are making decisions on who and who not to buy, the technical director wants YOUNG players.

And whilst  Moyes remains in charge of player choices, Steidten’s influence is clearly growing within the club, so Maguire – NO!
