Maiga move: The Truth

|
maigaReports that Modibo Maiga is on his way to the desert remain unconfirmed despite widespread reports.
We reported earlier in the day that social media networks and forums were claiming the player was on his way to Saudi Arabia outfit AINassr.
But the claims were denied by an Irons insider tonight and he was clearly despondent about it.
He told us exclusively: “No, these claims are not right. It would have probably been very good for everybody if they had been.
“Indeed the way things are looking right now he may in fact be our only fit striker for the match against Liverpool. A move could happen but figures of £6 million which are being mentioned are wrong.
“If it does happen it’s more likely to be a free transfer.”

Hopefully he can make the move, if we lose him before the Liverpool game it doesn’t matter if he has a transfer lined up, I would wrap him in cotton wool. We have Samuelson and Lee not yet experienced enough maybe but why not give them the experience at Anfield. I was speaking to one of my mates who said this transfer target Zaza scores some good goals said he isn’t a 20 goal a season player but could do a good job for us.
