Major Kudus boost from Uefa

By Hughie Southon

Life is going very well indeed for Mo Kudus right now and he had a major boost today when the own goal which equalised the scores on Thursday evening was awarded to him!

This means that he has scored twice on his debut for the Irons having headed home a James Ward-Prowse assist for the second goal.

European football’s governing body Uefa Europa League’s official website e now shows him as having been credited with the goal.

Kudus is really starting to live up to the hype which greeted his arrival at the club and this will be a massive boost to him and the club as we head for Anfield tomorrow.

The former Ajax man looks a real player despite not being fully match fit but he may bet the chance to show what he has  as far the Premier League is tomorrow should Jarrod Bowen not be available.

In the meantime him being awarded that first goal is a real booster.
