David Moyes is reportedly in the mix to replace Oliver Glasner as Crystal Palace’s head coach, should the Eagles opt for a change. Glasner, now under mounting pressure, has tied Palace’s record for their longest winless start in a Premier League season following their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

This situation marks a remarkable turn of events, considering Glasner led a 5-2 rout of Moyes’ West Ham United last season—a score line that could have been far worse.

Moyes, who departed West Ham at the end of last season, has since flirted with opportunities at AC Milan and Everton. On various podcasts, he’s openly mentioned turning down multiple offers which evidently didn’t tickle his fancy.

Meanwhile, Palace’s owner Steve Parish is rumoured to have long-held admiration for Graham Potter, the former Chelsea boss, adding to the sense of indecision at the club. The Eagles have flitted between managers with vastly different styles—switching from Patrick Vieira’s possession-based approach to Roy Hodgson’s defensive mindset, and then to Glasner’s free-flowing football.

If Moyes is indeed under consideration, Palace could be looking at another significant tactical shift. Glasner still retains some goodwill after guiding Palace to a record 10th-place Premier League finish last season, but the pressure is mounting.

Hammers Chat my first game was West Ham 10-0 Bury . . . seriously!
We than went and bought Bury's central defender 😬⚒️ Irons

Started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

Give West Ham opinions on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus.

Sometimes feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.

We need a new manager at West Ham and hopefully one appointed by Tim not Sully. Bayer Leverkusen trusted Tim and they won the league!
