Both Manchester United and Liverpool are believed to be chasing West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian has an £85 million buyout clause that can only be activated next season, and the Hammers have made it clear that any bid this season would have to break the British transfer record.
Kudus was hailed by Gary Neville as “the signing of the season” following last summer’s move from Ajax to The London Stadium.
Liverpool’s interest is well-documented, given that Mo Salah is expected to depart Anfield this summer in a mega move to the Saudi Pro League.
Manchester United’s interest is more recent, with the Sunday Express reporting serious interest from Old Trafford, where a massive transfer overhaul is believed to be planned for this summer.
West Ham will not be keen to sell one of our star players so early into Julen Lopetegui’s reign and it is believed the Hammers board will resist all offers for the player. However, things could get very interesting if any interested party were to offer significantly more than £100m.
Gas lighting fans again…tell you what lets get rid of all our best players get Roberto back in as clearly Areola and Fabs not the answer give Zouma and Ogbonna new 10 year contracts on £250 thousand a week get Noble back in the squad for one more season to cover for Pacman Kudus Alvarez sales poach Diagana back from WBA and i think Gonzo and every other so called expert will be happy then.
What a job Gonzo go back to being a tradie instead of a **** stirring gossip monger….what next? Wills and Kate fall out over the C&B as she is a staunch Hammer and has no place for Brummie trash Villa fans.
What’s a C&B?
Claret & Blue, I guess
Thanks Good Ole Daze. Now I understand – Wills is Villa and (according to David) Kate is Hammers (which I did not know).
Transfer fees have gone silly.
Saka £150m / Mo Salah £150m seems stupid but . . .
Paqueta / Kudus / Bowen £120m each that will shut up speculation.
These teams should be done for tapping up
If the club sell Kudus from under Lopetegui’s nose, he will walk away immediately.
With Lucas potentially being lost for nothing, Kudus will be our star man & must be kept. No point selling him & needing to spend most of his fee to replace him.
I thought that we made a statement a few seasons ago, that we were no longer going to be a selling club and will be retaining our best players….that didn’t last long.!
200mil or were not interested
Speculation at this stage, but it is ‘silly season’ as far as rumours go …
Logically, West Ham, with new management team, will be turning over a big chunk of the squad, so will Liverpool, Man U (And a few others), meaning there’s plenty of surplus to be moved.
Man U alone have a number of interesting trade pieces: Sancho, Anthony, Maguire, Wan-bissaka, and Mason Mount….
Sullivan will sell
