Man United shock on cards amid injury worries

By CandH northern man Terry Robbins

Manchester United may be forced to play their youngest front line in very long time given injury worries surrounding Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani.

The shock news comes when whilst  Ole Gunnar Solskjaerr used Rashford in training this morning for the first time this week but he will need a late fitness test and remains 50-50.

The player took a knock against Man City last weekend, has been in some pain, but no ligament damage was found via a scan so the club are giving him every chance..

Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani who has been recovering from a problem could be involved but is more likely to be held back for European competition next week.

Paul Pogba could also be missing and whilst in training for the second time this week since his injury , was not part of the team shape today.

All this means the Reds may bring in teenager Amad Diallo after he scored for his United debut game in midweek alongside 20 year old Mason Greenwood and 23 year old Danie James.

My OT sources explained that the midfield set up this morning involved Fred, McTominey and Fernades.
